Putting it all Together
INTRODUCTION
Create a longer animation in the medium of your choice.
CHOICES:
You can use Stop Motion Pro or Animator to create your movie. You can use Chromakey if you want.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
PLANNING:
Create a storyboard and your set (using the set boxes if doing 3D), etc AND HAVE IT APPROVED ______
Create your characters BEFORE you start shooting
Choose your software (or combination thereof)
CRITERIA FOR MAJOR PRESENTATION
TYPE STOP MOTION
Media CLAY or other objects
Key Criteria Variation in speed and pacing
Background objects
Variety in scenes / angles / Zooming
Good character movement
At least one scene with objects at different size
Secondary movement (meaning things other than your characters move)
Length Medium
TOP TEN ‘flying’ objects, ‘cleaned’
Voice over / Sound
Marks will be based on quality and length of product.
As the quality of your characters and materials determines how much work goes into each frame, there is a trade-off between length and quality. Marks will be out of 60, with a possible 65 points available.
KEY CRITERIA:
Storyboard with arrows, Complexity, Variety of shots, length
CHALLENGE:
Additional or even Bonus Marks are possible if you create alternate versions, or add advanced content.
