Instructions
INTRODUCTION

Create two ‘frame by frame’ animations using PIVOT. The tasks are designed to teach you the skills and physics of the program.

You can download Pivot From Teams, look in the ‘files’ tab of the ANIMATION TEAM

IF it’s not there, let me know and I’ll put it back 🙂

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Orientation:
– Open Pivot, look at some samples and familiarize yourself with moving the characters
– Create a short ‘test’ animation so you understand how to move items

Task 1 – The Physics of movement:
1. Open Pivot
2. Create a box that covers most of the working area
3. Open the sticks for your initials (they are in Graphics/Animation/Pivot/Alphabet’)
4. Make one letter large, the other no more than half the size.
5. Have the letters move and bounce around the box.
– The small letter should move twice as fast as the large one.
– Create at least 100 frames

Task 2 – Body movement / Climbing:

2. Open the sticks for ALL letters of your name and create a hill, ladder or other structure with them.
3. Open a basic Stickman and have it climb to the top of your structure.
– Make sure movements are realistic
– Create at least 100 frames
Submit Both Pivot files

KEY CRITERIA:
